ENAO Director General and five of the technical staff were busy at the IAF-ILAC General Assembly meeting and exposed on well established AB, NABCB of India respectively.

Mr. Araya Fesseha, Director General of ENAO attained the general assembly of IAF- ILAC hold at Vancouver, Canada from 07 Oct. to 17 Oct. 2014. During his stay, Mr. Araya managed to grasp many valuable discussions and decisions made by the General Assembly. The AMC had accepted ENAO’s application for full evaluation on Testing and Medical laboratory which is a great success for ENAO to be internationally recognized which ultimately enhances the competitiveness of the national trade in the global market.  

The foremost accreditation directorate director team totally five members who are the director of the squad, the quality overseer, two of inspection associates and the certification staff were in the team that had been exposed to the NABCB system.

  The team has arrived in New Delhi where NABCB is situated on 06 October 2014 in the morning time and a few minutes after, the team held a meeting with the staff of NABCB. The same day in the afternoon informative presentation on the overview of ISO/IEC 17020 was presented. In a similar mode on 07 October 2014 for the entire day, the training was maintained in the area of ISO/IEC 17065.

Subsequently, the team was divided into two different clusters i.e. Mulugeta and GG /team –one were able to manage the onsite assessment conducted at Mumbai. The second team that comprises  Natnael, Asefa, and Degu were attained the inspection assessment activities held at Gurgaon for two days which was October 08 &09.

   The experience will be disseminated to other staff members too during the discussions persistently conducted at 1 to 5 cells with perpetual commitment and spirit.
