The Meeting Will be held from October 22-31 ,2018! Message by : IAF-ILAC Chairs We, the Chairs of ILAC and IAF, welcome you to this year’s Joint IAF and ILAC Annual Meetings being held in Singapore. The schedule for the 2018 meetings is exceptionally busy and particularly so given the significant number of Committees, Task Forces and Working Groups elaborating and implementing key work items for both organizations. It is pleasing to see that many of these activities are being discussed and considered in joint IAF/ILAC TFs especially as we further work on the implementation of the IAF and ILAC Strategic plans to ensure the broader community and marketplace continue to gain from the benefits of accreditation into the future. Adding to the already ambitious work plan of many of our committees is the number of key international standards that have been revised recently and are now being implemented in many of the areas that are cornerstones of the work of IAF and ILAC, our members and stakeholders. In addition, this is an election year for both the IAF and ILAC Executive Committees. We thank those members of the Executive Committees that will be moving on for their commitment, dedication and hard work over the years while welcoming new faces to these Committees. The year also marks a significant milestone: the 25th anniversary of IAF! We look forward to celebrating this anniversary with our colleagues in Singapore. The opportunity to interact face-to-face with our IAF and ILAC peers who come from a diversity of backgrounds, along with our stakeholders and liaison partners, continues to be of great benefit and enjoyment as we strive to promote the use and benefits of accreditation globally.
