ENAO continued its first program of training candidate-assessors when it held the first Lead Assessor training course in which 10 candidates, who were selected from the previous technical assessor course, participated. This course consisted of a highly interactive and participative process in which the candidates were trained and evaluated in team management and interaction with laboratory management under near-real conditions. The final stage of this first assessor program will be on-site observation, mentoring and evaluation where all successful technical and lead assessor candidates will have several opportunities to observe and practice assessments in an on-site environment in test and calibration laboratories related to their specified fields.
